Our ballet classes follow the BBO Dance curriculum. We mix in contemporary and creativity time to all of our classes.

When I started Dance Concepts 10 years ago, it was never about building the biggest dance school.

It was about making sure every child had somewhere they felt they belonged.

A place where they could build confidence, express themselves, make friends and discover what they’re capable of.

That’s still our mission today.

We’re proud to teach in 15 communities across Ireland, but we’re only just getting started. Our goal is to bring Dance Concepts to even more towns and villages, because we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of dance, no matter where they live.

This is the first episode of a new summer series where I’ll be sharing more about who we are, why we do what we do, and what makes Dance Concepts different.

Most of our dancers won’t become professional dancers.

And that’s okay. ❤️

Because dance is about so much more than a career.

It’s about building confidence to stand tall.
It’s about learning resilience when things don’t go to plan.
It’s about teamwork, friendships and belonging.
It’s about discovering creativity, discipline and self-belief.
It’s about finding joy in movement and making memories that last a lifetime.

If one day they choose to dance professionally, we’ll be cheering the loudest.

But if they leave our classes as kind, confident, resilient young people who believe in themselves…

Then we’ve done our job. ✨
